WFC Goalkeepers

WFC Rangers has a long legacy of developing high level goalkeepers.  We value this position, its unique skillset and mental toughness required to play.   We provide free specialized small group goalkeeper training open to all WFC Ranger players.  If you are interested in training as a goalkeeper, please contact your coach.

Young Goalkeepers:  This training is designed to be ultra engaging and fun.  We believe this optional training is beneficial to any player with interest in the position.  We do not believe in designating goalkeepers at our younger age groups, we tend to us a pool of players to fill this position.  We feel encouraging players to try out the position and build a foundation of technique and hope to build enjoyment for the position.  We emphasize our training on athletic development, hand eye coordination, footwork, and basic handling. 

Elite Goalkeepers:  Some players choose to specialize in the goalkeeper position later in their career.  Our trainings provide these players with sessions designed to help them grow in every aspect of the position including, positioning, shot stopping, handling crosses, distribution & and much more.
