Rangers Simplifies Fee Structure
Whatcom FC Rangers Community:
We are excited to inform our membership of yet another positive change coming for the 2019/20 seasons.
After careful consideration and in an effort to simplify costs for our membership, Whatcom FC Rangers is moving to a single-fee structure for the 2019/2020 fiscal year. Going forward, the Whatcom FC Rangers Club membership fee will cover the cost of club operations including coaches’ stipends, field rentals for both trainings and games, referees, tournaments, administrative costs, league fees, WCYSA member fees, WYS member fees, and WYS State Cup fees. For the coming year, the Whatcom FC Rangers Club membership fee will be as follows:
Age | Birth Year | Membership Fee | Minimum Initial Payment |
U9-U10 | 2010-2011 | $1,795 | $400 |
U11-U19 | 2001-2009 | $1,945 | $400 |
A couple of things will remain as separate costs, which are coaches travel expenses and uniforms.
Travel Expenses: Travel expenses are not included in the club membership fee. For league and tournament play that requires travel and/or hotel costs, individual team treasurers will still collect for these costs to cover coach’s expenses. Coaches travel expenses will vary by team depending on the amount of travel incurred for each respective team.
Uniforms: 2019/2020 is not a required uniform purchase year. Only players new to the club will need to purchase a new uniform kit.
Additionally, two other items need brief explanations. First, after making the minimum initial payment, a payment plan for up to 10 months will be available for any family. Second, the scholarship process is unchanged.
